#5 Every Time I go to work I end up at a PARTY!

Don't you wish that your job let you party?  There is nothing quite amazing as a Thirty One party.  Once you feel the products, see the prints in person and start realizing what these items can do there is an energy that cannot be bottled.  The products sell themselves.  The catalog in all its glory just does not do these products justice.

The most rewarding part for me is when the party is winding down and my hostess sees how much her rewards are, how close is she to the next party level.  The hostess/guest that sees what I do as an opportunity.  The guest that says "Hey I want to get some of my friends together and have fun too."  It's just a joy doing what I do and I love it.

#6 Our Mission

The mission of Thirty One is Celebrate, Encourage and Reward.  It is one of the many things that I love about Thirty One.  I love celebrating with my fellow Thirty One consultants.  It is wonderful celebrating our accomplishments, goals, life events, milestones…etc.  It always seems like we are always celebrating something.  This team of women know how to have fun and it is a blast when they are there celebrating with me and some of the successes that I have had since I joined.

The encouragement I receive from my mentor and dear friend Jill Walmer you cannot put a price on it.  You will not find a better cheerleader, bigger motivator and just all around amazing woman than her.  I operate and make a lot of my decisions by constantly asking myself “What Would Jill Do?”  I sought her advice when deciding to take this journey and even though I did not sign up directly under her, she was and still is incredibly supportive.  I am honored to be a part of Team Walmer, you will never convince me that there is a better team of women we are always there for one another and Jill is responsible for that.  Thank you Jill, I hope to have my own team soon.

Rewards are important.  They can be a symbol of a goal you achieved a milestone you crossed.  For me in October I earned a Believe an Achieve incentive.  The Perfect Party Set was a new hostess exclusive and it is was in an exclusive incentive only print Plum Dot.  I made a goal and I earned it.  For me the reward was a culmination of our whole mission.  I had our whole team encouraging me, my upline Alana Banga and Jill were checking in with me about my goal setting and then I earned it we all celebrated at our Team Meeting with my fellow consultants that won it too. 

I personally feel that the mission goes deeper than that though.  Celebrating with my hostess' and customers is the best.  I love the home parties and helping people get organized.  I am passionate about learning new ways to use our products.  Encouraging my hostess' as they plan their parties and working with them to make their party a success.  Encouraging my new recruit as she starts her new business is a new endeavor for me.  As for the “Reward”, the cherry on top for me is two things really 1) I love when my hostess' see their rewards in person.  When I call them when their box arrives they cannot believe just how much stuff is theirs that they get to keep.  It really does feel like Christmas when you get your hostess delivery.  2) The value of the enrollment kit when you join as a consultant is incredible.  Which is soon followed by the reward to belong to the most amazing team of consultants I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

#7 What girl doesn't love a skirt

The skirt purse was the purse that got me hooked on Thirty One.  Before then I would buy a purse and I was in love, then a few months would go by and someone would have a newer version of my purse and it would be cuter; plus my obsession was with designer purses and they are very expensive.  So you can just imagine how my mind was blown when I went to my first Thirty One party and I found out that I could have a new purse for just $15.00.  My purse stays the same I just change the skirt.  I have more skirts then I can count now.  Every new catalog means new skirts so it is one of the things that I look forward to the most. Right now my favorite skirt is the one above.  It is our Turquoise Cross Pop, I just love the stitching detail on the bottom.  I am also a huge fan of the denim, and of course you can have your purse personalized.  If you are a baseball mom you might want to add a baseball & mom, your name or your initial.  The monogram looks very classy on a lot of our skirts.  There are just so many options and I think it is the one thing sets us apart from everyone else.

#8 So you scrapbook...

I have been scrapbooking for 9 years and I am OBSESSED!!!  I live for crops and retreats.  There is something about stickers, adhesive and cardstock that gets my blood pumping.  Right now thinking about it I am imagining future layouts.  But I digress, I love Thirty One for scrapbooking, I have been using it for years.  My favorite thing about it is that most of my scrap stuff is embroidered with Princess on it, in HOT PINK of course!  It's my signature color.  I consider myself to be a princess, so at work I am the Office Princess and at home I am just princess so when I am scrapbooking, you guessed it I am the Scrapbook Princess!  This princess has:  2 Large Utility Totes, Storage Tote, Retro Metro Tote, All In One, Organizing Utility Tote, Mini Utility Bin, 2 Littles Carryalls, 2 Zipper Pouches, Mini Organizer, plus their purses and wristlets are AMAZING for scrapbook retreats.  I honestly do not know how I ever scrapbooked before Thirty One.

#9 and My Why
I absolutely love our catalogs and I think the spring one is simply incredible.  So much to love, from the prints, products, the uses, the personalization....etc.  I really could go on and on.  This leads me right into my "WHY".  Why did I decide to become a consultant?

In August 2012, I was just a Thirty One customer.  I had a few parties, I took advantage of some of the specials but I was adamant that I was just a customer.  I LOVED the product, I LOVED the hostess exclusives and I LOVED telling everyone under the sun who my consultant was.  So when I was praying and asking God to guide me into opportunities where I could earn a little bit more money, and he threw people in my path that wanted to know where I got my purse or I love your storage bags....etc.  again I handed them my consultant's business card.  

I had just received the Fall catalog for 2012 and I was walking out to my car from work and a co-worker stopped me and said, "Do you sell Thirty One?  I need to book a party and I want to place an order, I need all these things personalized."  At that moment I realized that I had not been listening to God's plan for me.  I said very calmly, "I am signing up, so let me get your information and we will get something on my calendar."  I already had enough product and been to enough parties that I felt confident that I could do that.  I have not looked back since that moment.  I love all of the ladies I have met and come into contact with.  There is something truly amazing about this company.

Welcome to my blog!  I am soooo excited about my Thirty One business there are so many opportunities available with Thirty One right now.  It is a very exciting time to be a consultant.  Thirty One is celebrating it's 10th Anniversary this year and I thought I would start my blog off with my 10 favorite things.  

#10 is  my favorite page of our Spring catalog.  This is a place that makes me sigh, I want this and not just because it is pink.  I love this closet and I would love to make this closet a reality for you.  There are many ways to make it happen and I am even offering to come and do it for you!  Imagine only paying $341.00 for a whole new closet and you don't even have to organize it!
